We'll first visit the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the final resting place of Vietnamese great father - President Ho Chi Minh. He lived here on and off from 1958 to 1969.
Then, go to the Temple of Literature that is the first college in Vietnam. After lunch in a local Vietnamese restaurant, we'll drive to admire Hoan Kiem Lake. In the afternoon, take a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter. On the bustling narrow streets, you will find hidden gems under your tour guide's help: Hanoi's famous egg coffee, weird-looking fruits and all kinds of beverages and ice creams.
Later, you'll watch the Water Puppet Show for one hour, which is a unique traditional performance in Vietnam.

Old Quarter

After breakfast, drive about 3 hours to Halong Bay, one of the Wonders of the Orient. Board the cruise and enjoy the relaxing journey. The cruise starts from Tuan Chau Island, the gateway of Halong Bay.
Explore the amazing scenery spread across the Halong Bay, the stunning caves, small islets, pristine beaches, picturesque floating villages, and fantastic rock formations rising up out of the emerald water.
Toward the end of the day, you will sail to the overnight mooring area. Enjoy a wonderful dinner at evening. You have a chance to enjoy a mesmerizing sunset on the top deck before a scrumptious dinner.

Halong Bay

Wake up to experience Tai Chi exercises on the sun deck and then continue cruising the beautiful Halong Bay. A light breakfast buffet will be served in the dining room.
After a visit to a limestone grotto, you will then disembark the cruise in Halong City around noon. Drive back to Hanoi airport for a flight to Da Nang.
On arrival in Da Nang, visit Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum which has a fascinating collection of rare works of art. Transfer Hoi An in the afternoon, check-in in the hotel and have some free time by your own.

Take a soft excursion to go around the Hoi An ancient town and visit the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, renowned Chinese Temple, and former Vietnamese merchants' houses, your guide will tell you all the stories behind these historical relics.
This afternoon you will be taken on a boat ride in the Hoai River to Thanh Ha Pottery Village. At every turn, you can see local people working on their crafts that have been handed down through generations.

The Old Town of Hoi An

After breakfast in hotel, drive to Da Nang airport and take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City - still called Saigon by the locals. It is the largest city in Vietnam and is located near the Mekong Delta.
Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and escort you to hotel for check-in.
Then you will tour the former Presidential Palace (Reunification Palace). From there, the Tan Dinh Church, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street, Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall are all within walking distance and absolutely nice choices for a free stroll. The last place you will visit today is Binh Tay Market where you can find out anything there.

After breakfast, we will drive out of Ho Chi Minh City onto some beautiful country roads to Ben Tre Town in the Mekong Delta, famous for its vast rice fields, numerous waterways, and beautiful landscapes. This region produces most of Vietnam's fruit, rice and sugar cane.
Explore the Mekong Delta with a boat trip on narrow channels winding through the coconut forest. During the boat ride, you will stop at the local cottage to see how the local people make bricks and weave sleeping mats by hand. Learn about their craft handed down through generations.

In the morning, visit the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. This place surely will give you a comprehensive insight into the amazing feat of engineering.
Catch a short flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, your Cambodian private guide and driver are waiting to meet you and drive you directly to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the afternoon and evening will be free at your leisure.

Spend a full day visiting the amazing temples of Angkor on a guided exploration. Angkor Wat is the largest and most complete structure, and the only one of Angkor's temples that has its entrance facing west – the others face east. Then there is Angkor Thom, the 'Great Royal City', a temple famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone. Of all the temples visited today, Bayon temple is the centerpiece, with over 200 smiling carved faces and more than 50 gothic towers. After lunch it's off to the Ta Prohm Temple, which has large trees embedded in the stone foundations of the structure - powerful symbols of nature.

Angkor Wat

Embrace a very early start today if you wish to experience a sunrise visit to the Angkor complex (this is optional). From here, continue onto Banteay Srei. You'll see it's not a huge temple, but thanks to its intricate stone carvings it is sometimes referred to as 'the jewel in the crown of Angkorian art'.
Transfer to Kompong Phluk and take you around the lake, an area of a sky full of water. Besides, you will discover the life of the people living in one of the floating villages on the lake of the Kompong Phluk.
Then boat to Tonle Sap Lake. Tonle Sap is a system of combination of large lake and river in Cambodia and is also the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Take a boat for about 1.5 hrs on this lake, see the life of fishing villages, migratory birds and the beautiful scenery of Tonle Sap.
After a lake cruise, return to Siem Reap.
