Today, you’ll transfer to Hangzhou East Railway Station for a comfortable 2-hour high-speed train to Shangrao, Jiangxi. Upon arrival, your local guide and driver will greet you and escort you to Wangxian Valley (about 50 km, 1.5 hours). After check-in and a short rest, enjoy a magical evening as lights illuminate the cliffside village, transforming the mountains into a dreamlike “Heavenly Palace on Cloud Nine.”

By day, Wangxian Valley reveals a tranquil Gan-style charm, where an ancient town clings to cliffs above waterfalls, showcasing well-preserved Northeast Jiangxi architecture. Wander narrow alleys filled with artisan shops and local snacks, or challenge yourself on thrilling glass walkways with canyon views. Fed by abundant springs and waterfalls, this former abandoned quarry has transformed into a breathtaking wonderland. Later, transfer to Shangrao Railway Station for your high-speed train to Huangshan City, where your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

After breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and travel about 80 km (1.5 hours) to Mount Huangshan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China’s most iconic mountains. Renowned for ancient pines, dramatic granite peaks, hot springs, winter snow, and a mystical sea of clouds, Huangshan has inspired Chinese art and literature for centuries. In the Ming Dynasty, traveler Xu Xiake praised it as surpassing all other famous mountains, highlighting its unrivaled status in China.

Begin before dawn (around 5–6 am) to witness Mount Huangshan’s legendary sunrise. As warm light spreads over misty peaks, enjoy a breathtaking moment long celebrated by poets and artists. After breakfast, explore Lion Peak, including Dawn Pavilion, Refreshing Terrace, and the iconic Monkey Watching the Sea. Descend by Yungu cableway and continue to Hongcun Village, a UNESCO-listed Huizhou village famed for its Ming- and Qing-era architecture, often called a village in a Chinese painting.

The tour comes to a close today. Your guide will escort you to Huangshan Railway Station for your high-speed train to Shanghai or your next destination.
