Itinerary Details

During the 9 days of this Amazing Bali tour, you will explore Bali’s natural and cultural beauty in-depth. From Ubud to Candidasa, to Lovina and Sanur, explore Bali's ancient temples & palaces, lively markets, traditional villages, splendid volcanoes, and terraced rice fields, you will get close to the traditional way of living of local people and venture to lesser-known sites on the island. Let yourself immerse in the amazing Bali!

Welcome to paradise island - Bali!

Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai Airport, your guide will meet you and drive for about 2 hours to Ubud -the cultural center of Bali. On arrival directly check-in your hotel.

You will start your Bali exploration from the charming Ubud. Your guide will pick you up at hotel then drive to Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a nature reserve and a temple complex inhabited about 340 playful monkeys. 

Then visit Ubud Market nearby to see more traditional Balinese crafts, where you can shop for beautiful souvenirs or simply admire the artists’ works. Fresh produce like fruits, local snacks can be also found. Continue walk to visit Ubud’s Royal Palace. Built in the 16th century, the palace is still home to Ubud’s King and its royal family. It owns Balinese traditional houses and exquisite design. Have lunch in the local restaurant.

In the afternoon, head to the nearby village, one of Bali's foremost mask makers. You will see collection and learn about the role of these exquisite pieces in Balinese culture. Next, visit a gamelan studio to see the process of traditional percussive instruments. Later, walk throughout Ubud's famous art galleries to admire the famous art works.

In the evening, drive to a stage in Ubud for enjoying Kecak Dance performance. A chorus of a hundred men chants hypnotically as dancers enact scenes from the Hindu epic Ramayana. After that, return to your hotel.

Your guide will pick you up in the morning and proceed to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), a Hindu meditation center dating back to the 11th Century. Continue drive to Klungkung to see the ancient Kertha Gosha Court House.

Afterwards, head towards Candidasa. En route, take a visit to Goa Lawah (Bat Cave), a temple built in front of a cave inhabited by thousands of bats. On arrival directly check in your hotel in Candidasa.

Today your first stop is Tirta Gangga, a former royal water palace in eastern Bali built by the late King of Karangasem in 1946. It boasts large and small pools, fountains, stone carvings and meticulous gardens. This beautiful water gardens is a tranquil oasis for weary travelers.

Next start a trekking at Kasatala Village. During the hike you will pass through rainforests, walk along rice fields and have great views on the Eastern coast of Bali.

Have lunch in local restaurant. Continue to Virgin Beach to have your relaxing time. Return to hotel.

Check out in the morning. Your guide will meet you and escort you to visit Kehen Temple. It is a Hindu temple located in the high land, so you can enjoy the lush surroundings. The outer sanctum of Pura Kehen has a banyan tree that’s known to be at least 400 years old, and it even has a little tree house pagoda at the top.

Continue to visit the Coffee Plantation at Sribatu. You will see local people processing the coffee and taste a cup of authentic Bali coffee. Then visit Penglipuran village.

Afterward, proceed to explore the still active Mt. Batur volcano and Lake Batur. Stop at the view point and you will enjoy spectacular panorama of the Mt. Batur. Ash of black lava stretch down from its peak to the valley below while the surroundings feature lush green forest. You will also enjoy the landscape of the beautiful Batur lake, bali's largest lake with an area of approximately 18 square kilometers. Enjoy your lunch at local restaurant.

Drive towards north on scenic road, we will stop to visit Pura Beji, finally drive to Lovina.

Lovina Beach is fascinating for watching dolphins. Wake up in the early morning, you will set out before sunrise to look for dolphins. Take a local boat and head out into the bay. Then stop on the water, you will wait for the clever ocean elves. They usually forage in group at sunrise. If you’re on a bad day and spot no dolphin (depend on the weather), enjoying a beautiful sunrise of Lovina Beach will be surely another wonderful experience.

Return to hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

This morning you will be picked up from the hotel by your guide for a full-day exploration of the Tabanan Regency of Bali. First, drive to Beratan Lake and Ulun Danu temple - The Goddess of the water temple. It will take about 1.5 hours and you can enjoy the picturesque countryside along the way. Ulun Danu Temple is a famous Hindu temple located in the lakeside of Beratan and owns the beautiful panorama with Beratan Lake and lush mountain as a backdrop.

Then continue drive to Jatiluwih Rice Terrace. Enjoy a leisurely hike through the rice terraces of Jatiluwih and overlook a shimmering view of terraced rice fields, stretching in endless contours over hills and valleys. 

After lunch at local restaurant, head towards Tanah Lot temple built on a small, offshore island of rock. And it is connected to the land only when the tide is low. After the visiting, transfer to Sanur then check in your hotel.
