Welcome to paradise island - Bali!

Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, your private guide will meet you and drive for about 2 hours to Ubud -the cultural center of Bali. On arrival directly check in your hotel.

You will start your Bali exploration from the charming Ubud. Your guide will pick you up at hotel then take a visit to the mysterious Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), a Hindu meditation center dating back to the 11th Century. From there, take a short walk along rice fields and through a small village, you will see the 14th-century reliefs of Yeh Pulu temple, carved out of the rock hillside. Next, continue to visit Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a nature reserve and a temple complex inhabited about 340 playful monkeys. 

Afterwards, drive to the center of Ubud to visit Ubud’s Royal Palace. Built in the 16th century, the palace is still home to Ubud’s King and its royal family. It owns beautiful Balinese traditional houses. Then walk in the nearby Ubud Market where local vendors come to sell fresh food as well as handicrafts and textiles. Have lunch in the local restaurant.
 
In the afternoon, head to the nearby village, one of Bali's foremost mask makers. You will see collection and learn about the role of these exquisite pieces in Balinese culture. Next, visit a gamelan studio to see the process of traditional percussive instruments. Later, walk throughout Ubud's famous art galleries to admire the famous art works.

In the evening, drive to a stage in Ubud for enjoying Kecak Dance performance. A chorus of a hundred men chants hypnotically as dancers enact scenes from the Hindu epic Ramayana. After enjoying the performance, return to your hotel.

Today you will embark on a foodie tour and cook an authentic Balinese dish by yourself. You will be transferred to Laplapan Village for your private cooking class at Paon Bali. At the village, you will be warmly welcomed and expertly guided by your host. You will discover how to create your own delicious Balinese dishes.

In the morning, your private tour guide will meet you at hotel then drive to Batubulan Village to attend Barong and Keris traditional dance performance (Cultural show). Barong Dance is one of the most iconic dance-dramas on the island of Bali that tells about the fight between good and evil. Then take a visit to Tanah Lot Temple, one of Bali’s most famous temple built on a small island just off from the beach. It is connected to the land only when the tide is low.

Continue drive to Jatiluwih. Enjoy a leisurely hike through the rice terraces of Jatiluwih and overlook a shimmering view of terraced rice fields, stretching in endless contours over hills and valleys. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we drive north to Lake Bratan for a visit to Ulun Danu Temple. It is a famous Hindu temple located in the lakeside of Beratan and owns the beautiful panorama with Beratan Lake and lush mountain as a backdrop. Finish the visiting, drive to your hotel in Munduk.

Today you will visit Brahma Vihara Arama Monastery, a beautiful Buddhist monastery nestled in the northern mountains near Lovina. This complex consists of many impressive temples, serene gardens with Buddha statues, meditation rooms, and especially a spectacular replica of the Borobudur in Java. You will totally immerse in its tranquil and serene atmosphere. And you can also overlook the beautiful coastline by the mountains.

Lovina Beach is fascinating for watching dolphins. Wake up in the early morning, you will set out before sunrise to look for dolphins. Take a local boat and head out into the bay, then stop on the water. You will wait for the clever ocean elves. They usually forage in group at sunrise. If you’re on a bad day and spot no dolphin (depend on the weather), enjoying a beautiful sunrise of Lovina Beach will be surely another wonderful experience.

Return to hotel, the rest of the day is free at leisure.

After breakfast in hotel, check-out from your hotel for long drive to Candidasa with some stops on the way. We will firstly stop at Beji Temple in Singaraja, located in the northern region of Bali. Dating back to the 15th century, this ancient temple is special for its perfect carvings. Afterward drive up to Kintamani for visiting Penulisan temple.

Continue drive down to Penelokan where you can see the beautiful panorama of still active Mount Batur. Enjoy your lunch at the restaurant that looks out at the caldera of the Batur volcano. You will also see the beautiful Batur Lake, Bali's largest lake with an area of approximately 18 square kilometers.

After lunch, continue drive towards south to visit the Mother Temple of Besakih. Consisting of more than 30 temples, Besakih Temple is the oldest and largest Hindu temple complex in Bali. Perched nearly 1000 meters up the slope side, it offers breathtaking views of Bali countryside with rice fields, mountains, and forests. Its gate of " good and evil" is especially magnificent.

From Besakih drive to Candidasa, upon arrival directly check in your hotel.

This morning, your guide will meet you and transfer you to visit Tirta Gangga, a former royal water palace in eastern Bali built by the late King of Karangasem in 1946. It boasts large and small pools, fountains, stone carvings and meticulous gardens. Although they suffered some damage during the eruption of Mt. Agung, the water gardens remain as serene and tempting as ever.

Next, start a hiking at Kasatala Village. During the hike you will pass through rainforests, walk along rice fields and have great views on the Eastern coast of Bali. Have lunch in local restaurant. Continue to Virgin Beach to have your relaxing time. Return to hotel.

In the morning, your tour guide will meet you at hotel then transfer to Padang Bai Harbor for fast boat to Gili Trawangan. Upon arrival in Gili Trawangan, directly transfer to hotel by Cidomo. 

Gili Trawangan is an undisturbed island, featuring pure ocean and beckoning view. The best way to explore the tropical paradise of Gili Trawangan is by a cidomo, a traditional horse and cart popular on Lombok and Gili Islands. Automobiles and motorized traffic are prohibited on Gili Trawangan by local ordinance, so you can see cidomos everywhere. You can take this horse-drawn carriage to whisk away along the country roads to visit the island’s gorgeous coastline, traditional market or other charming sites.
