This trekking tour is specially designed for outdoor experts and nature lovers to explore the off the beaten path but the most stunning scenery of Northern Laos. You will have various chances to experience the jungle adventure, trek though green fields and waterfalls, and stay at different minority villages.
Welcome to Luang Prabang!
Upon arrival at Luang Prabang airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and then transferred to your hotel. Later, you can relax at the hotel or explore the surroundings on your own.

Get up early in this morning, you will have a chance to participate in an important ceremony - morning alms giving. Every morning, the pious local people offer their today's first pot of rice to Buddhist monks. Then stop to visit the fresh local market and back to hotel for breakfast.
Start today's sightseeing with a visit to the ancient Wat Xieng Thong Temple, which is a magnificent temple built since 1560. We will also visit the Royal Palace Museum. It is a grand palace with various cultural relics. Next, visit the nearby the Wat Mai. The impressive temple is one of Luang Prabang ‘s largest and most richly decorated temples.
In the afternoon, drive outskirt of Luang Prabang to visit the Kuang Si waterfalls. You will first visit the bear rescued centre in the park. Then, enjoy the spectacular waterfalls and orchids surroundings inside the park. The falls cascade over many calcified tiers and down several hundred feet into a series of cool and turquoise pools. You can jump into the cool water and refresh yourself. After the tour, return to Luang Prabang.

Today, we will depart to Nong Khiaw. Stop at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers, you will take a boat to visit Pak Ou caves. With over 4,000 Buddha icons, it is one of the most respected holy sites in Laos.
After the visit, continue to drive towards Nong Khiaw. About 3 hours later, you then reach Nong Khiaw, a beautiful rustic town on the bank of the Ou River in Laos. Check in and have a rest.

You will start the day with a boat ride on the Nam Ou River to a small village. Then you will be guided to trek through small streams and rice paddies to reach the base of the 100 Waterfall. Your guide will lead you to trek through the cascades and jungles. Then you will take a small trail from the top of the falls back down into the valley. Along the way, you will get the landscapes of the Nam Ou valley. Trek back to the village, you will have more time to observe the daily life here. Afterwards, head back Nong Khiaw by a small boat.

After breakfast, we will leave for Muang Sing with 7 hours' journey. On arrival, check in hotel.
After relaxing, you can walk around to explore Muang Sing, the biggest town of Luang Nam Tha province.

Today, you will start trekking in the jungle of Nam Ha National Protected Area(NPA). It is a vast untouched region of the jungle forest in northwest Laos that is best known for ecotourism and outdoor tourism initiatives.
Take a Tuk Tuk direct to the south of Nam Ha NPA on the road No. 17B Muang Sing-Luang Namtha around 17 km. Here high jungle forests cover the mountain and many different species of birds and elephants inhabit. Walk up to the mountain of Nam Ha NPA, you can see different kinds of forest of bamboo, wild banana and beautiful waterfalls. After lunch and rest, you will trek through the old forest and fields to visit Ban Sai Leck (Yao village) where you will stay overnight.
Before dinner, you can walk around the village and meet the villagers to learn about their lifestyle, traditions and cultures. Then enjoy your dinner host by local people. After dinner, you will receive Yao performance - their traditions and culture. Later, you will enjoy free massage which is offered traditionally to the guests staying overnight in the village.
Notes: The homestay is very simple with toilet outside.

Witness the daily life of Yao in the early morning. After breakfast, continue the trekking tour in north Laos. Trek though the agriculture field and protected forest, you will see different colorful ethnic groups around Muang Sing Valley.
Enjoy lunch enroute. In the afternoon, you will arrive at Ban Pha Yha Luang where you will stay overnight. While waiting for dinner, you can visit the villages and walk around to learn about Akha traditions. After dinner, you will enjoy Akha performance and a massage.

Today, you will walk to visit other minority groups, such as Tai Lue and Lolo. People here are friendly and hospitable. In the afternoon, end the trekking tour and take the Tuk Tuk back to Muang Sing. Check in hotel and have a rest.

After breakfast, you can visit Muang Sing morning market. Then, you will be transferred to Luang Namtha airport for taking a flight back to Luang Prabang. After check-in, you are free at leisure.
