Your driver and guide will meet you and transfer you to the train station. They will see you off there. You will take an overnight train to Lao Cai.

You will be picked up by your guide upon your arrival in Lao Cai this morning. After breakfast you will start your exploration. Your will be stunned by the wonderful natural scenery of rice paddies in terrace, pine plantations and tea farms.
Lao Cai preserves lots of special cultural and historical sites. Outstanding vestiges include the ancient stone engrave area with picture of map, handwriting, people thousand years ago in Muong Hoa Valley (Sapa), Pho Rang vestige. There are many beautiful caves like Thuy Tien (Bat Xat), Ta Phoi (Cam Duong), Tien-Trung Do (Bac Ha). You will also have chance to take a boat tour to discover local village. Overnight in Sapa.

Rice Terraces Fields in Lao Cai

In the morning, you will walk for a brief introduction of this charming town. At the market, you will meet many ethnic minority peoples from different groups, wearing their traditional costumes made by themselves, selling local products includes vegetable, bamboo shoot, mushroom, medicinal herbs and souvenirs.
Then your guide and driver will pick you up for a drive up hill to the famous Silver Waterfall and then onto Tram Ton, the highest mountain pass in Vietnam at 1,800m above sea level for enjoying the magnificence of Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range as well as over viewing spectacular landscapes of terraced paddy fields. You will be transferred back to Sapa by private car and you will own your time for the rest of the day.

The scenery of the Sapa region represents a harmonious relationship between the minority people and nature, which can be seen perceptibly in the paddy fields carpeting the rolling lower slopes of the Hoang Lien Mountains.
